The NHL playoffs are officially underway and after a rocky season the Washington Capitals go into the playoffs again this year as they seek to win the 2012 Stanley Cup. The Caps are facing current NHL Champions, the Boston Bruins, in a seven game series. While the Bruins lead the series 1-0, the Caps have a chance to even the series in Boston today before going back home to Washington on Monday. NHL fans can expect this series to be a great physical match-up between these two teams as the Bruins fight to defend their title and the Capitals battle to make their first Stanley Cup appearance since 1998. The last time these two teams met in the post-season was in 1998, when the Capitals defeated the Bruins in six games and went on to their first and only Stanley Cup Finals appearance. Can the Capitals make their second Finals appearance this year? #ROCKTHERED
