It seems as if the Oklahoma City Thunder have taken a two game lead in the series against the Los Angeles Lakers. As good of a team as the Lakers are in playoff time, the Lakers have some serious match-up issues against the Thunder. In game one it was evident that they are going to have a hard time against Russell Westbrook. Recently, Indiana Pacers Head Coach Frank Voguel expressed his concerns pertaining to “flopping” and went so far as to calling the Heat “the biggest flopping team in the NBA.”

Quick Hit – Josh Hamilton Makes History at Camden Yards Stadium!!

Last night, Camden Yards Stadium was the setting for an historic night for baseball and Texas Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton. The Rangers faced the Baltimore Orioles in its second game of a three game series. The Rangers dominated the Orioles throughout, defeating the Orioles for the second time in this series 10-3. Hamilton’s four home-run hitters were a major contribution to the Rangers 10-3 victory, as Hamilton made history becoming the 16th MLB player to reach this significant milestone. Continue reading

Quick Hit – The Washington Capitals Game Six “Must Win”!!!

Tonight the nation’s capital will be electrifying as the Washington Capitals face the New York Rangers in game six of this seven game series in the race to the Stanley Cup Finals. This game is a “must win” for the Capitals who are down 3-2 against the Rangers. Monday night the Capitals were so close to a glorifying victory in New York as they led the Rangers 3-2 in the final minute. Unfortunately, a costly penalty by Joel Ward resulted in a game changing power play as the Rangers scored in the final six seconds, tying the game and ultimately leading to a Rangers over-time victory.
