The Ravens and Vonta Leach part ways…
The Baltimore Ravens are going to have to get used to life without Vonta Leach. The two sides were unable to come to terms on a new contract and the team was unable to find a trade partner. Leach was set to make $3 million in base salary and carries a $4.33 million salary-cap figure. Officially released this morning, the bruising Pro Bowl FB took to Twitter yesterday to say goodbye:

NBA FINALS GAME ONE!!
The wait is over! Tonight game one of the NBA Finals will premier at American Airlines Arena in Miami. After a suspenseful Eastern Conference Finals, the Miami Heat get back to work and look to defend their championship title. But the well rested, veteran San Antonio Spurs will be no easy task. The Spurs swept the Memphis Grizzles in the Western Conference Finals and with nearly a week of rest they are ready to hang their fifth championship banner. In 2007 the Spurs faced LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Spurs swept the Cavaliers in the series, earning their last title to date. Tonight the NBA stage will be spectacular as the biggest match-up of the NBA Finals kicks off. Game seven of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers will truly be a competitive battle. The Heat look to defend their title as the East Champs but the young and aggressive Pacers team will be no easy task. The NBA Conference Finals are underway and only four best teams in the league remain. The battle between the young Memphis Grizzles and veteran San Antonio Spurs got off to an intense start yesterday. The competition in the 2013 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs have gotten intense as the semi-finals of the eastern and western conferences have now started. The defending Stanley Cup champs, The Los Angeles Kings are looking to defend their title and repeat. The Kings currently have a 1-0 lead against the San Jose Sharks and look to snatch the series in less than seven games.
